Loch Ness, June 1977
I went to Loch Ness with my dad like two weeks ago and according to him stories about a sea monster living in Loch Ness first started being reported as early as the 7th century because the way that the waves move, it looks a bit like a monster or something? And then in the 20th century when photography was a relatively new invention, people didn’t know that pictures could be faked, so when pictures came out supposedly showing a monster having a swim in loch ness a lot of people accepted it completely as fact because they thought if there was photographic evidence it had to be true.
